GoFakeIt GITHUB Repository Breaks 3,000 Stars created by Fluid Pay’s Lead Developer Brian Voelker!
Brian Voelker, lead developer at Fluid Pay, LLC. has created a random data generator used for data filling, simulation, demonstration, and other scenarios in the development and testing phase.
One of the most exciting parts of this project Brian has created is that this is written completely in Golang. What is Golang? Go, (AKA Golang) is an open-source programming language focused on simplicity, reliability, and efficiency. Go was released publicly in 2012 and quickly became one of the leading modern programming languages. Go is popular for cloud-based or server-side applications. DevOps and site reliability automation are also popular ways to use Go.
GitHub stars matter and important because one of the main benefits is creating confidence and good first impressions of the project. This in turn will help the project gain users/attention and even contributors who active use the project and want to help grow it. Just another way the programming community continues to help each other, open source.
The fact that over 3,000 people have given Go Fake It a star on GitHub helped it to find its place on GitHub’s coveted trending projects lists on more than one occasion. Congratulations Brian and nice work!
About Fluid Pay, LLC
Fluid Pay™ was founded in 2017 and has been a Level 1 PCI DSS Service Provider since 2019. The platform is a partner-only payment gateway built for ISOs, agent groups, ISVs, and software platforms across the United States.
Fluid Pay does not board merchants directly. Partners do. The platform exists to give those partners the gateway, vault, fraud controls, recurring billing, and terminal support they need to run a payments program on their own brand.
The non-compete is the only model we operate, and it has not changed since 2017.
